CREATOR GUIDE / PUBLIC DATA
Public viewer data is useful — when you know its limits.
A public viewer count can show where visible attention concentrated. It cannot explain earnings, private activity or why a number moved. The difference is what makes the data useful.
What a public viewer count can show
Observed peaks
A peak is the highest public concurrent viewer count captured during a stated period. It helps answer one narrow question: what was the strongest visible audience level this room reached while it was observed?
An observed peak is a floor, not a ceiling. A true high point can happen between samples, so a public peak should never be presented as a complete record of every person who watched a stream.
Available history
One isolated number rarely changes a decision. With enough public observations, available history can show whether a session looked normal for that room, part of a longer run, or materially above its earlier visible range.
Tracked records
A tracked record means a room exceeded the highest public viewer count CBMetrics had previously observed for it. It is not a career all-time claim; it is a sourced milestone relative to available history.
What public data cannot show
Public room data does not reveal earnings, tips, tokens, conversion, private shows, viewer identities, the cause of a peak or future growth. Those gaps are not a flaw to hide. They are the boundary between public context and private business data.
A visible spike can flag a moment worth reviewing. It cannot tell you whether that moment was valuable, sustainable or repeatable without context the public data does not contain.
Use a public profile well
Treat the data as a record of what was observed, then pair it with your own notes. If a session looks unusually strong, note the schedule, promotion, collaboration or format while it is fresh. Public data provides a timestamped signal; the creator provides the explanation.
The most defensible comparison is usually a creator against their own earlier public range — not one room's peak against another room's income, work ethic or audience loyalty.
How CBMetrics fits
CBMetrics is an independent public-data project. It reads publicly reported room information and turns available observations into creator profiles, reports and tracked milestones. It does not control Chaturbate accounts, guarantee profile inclusion or see private creator data.

Questions creators ask
What can public viewer data show?
It can show the public viewer count observed for a room, available history around those observations and whether a room exceeded an earlier tracked high.
What can public viewer data not show?
It cannot show earnings, tips, tokens, private shows, viewer identities, the cause of a peak or future growth.
When does a creator profile appear?
Only after a public room has been observed and enough available data exists to render useful context. CBMetrics cannot promise inclusion timing or coverage for every room.
