METHODOLOGY
Where these numbers come from
CBMetrics measures one thing: how many people are watching public Chaturbate rooms, and when. Everything published here is derived from data Chaturbate makes public. Nothing is inferred about earnings, private shows or individual viewers.
In short
A collector samples Chaturbate's public listing of online rooms every few minutes and records the viewer count of each room. Those samples are aggregated into hourly and daily figures, which is what every chart, leaderboard and profile on this site is built from. The site itself never writes to the platform and never interacts with it.
Is CBMetrics affiliated with Chaturbate?
No. CBMetrics is an independent project with no affiliation to Chaturbate or Multi Media LLC, and no endorsement from either. It cannot ban, suspend, moderate or promote any account, and it holds no accounts of its own on the platform. It only reads data that Chaturbate publishes openly.
Where does the data come from?
From Chaturbate's public affiliate listing of online rooms, which anyone can request. It reports a single aggregate viewer count per public room, alongside descriptive fields such as country, language and tags. CBMetrics samples that listing continuously and stores the history.
How often is it updated?
The collector samples public rooms every few minutes, and hourly and daily aggregates are rebuilt on a fixed schedule. Every report and profile page shows the timestamp of the data it is displaying.
Does CBMetrics see earnings, tips or tokens?
No. Earnings are not part of any public feed, so no figure on this site is a revenue estimate and none should be read as one. Anyone quoting a CBMetrics number as income is misreading it.
Does CBMetrics see who is watching?
No. The public listing gives one aggregate number per room and no information about individual viewers, so registered and anonymous viewers cannot be separated, and no viewer is ever identified.
What does a peak actually mean?
The highest concurrent viewer count observed for that room during the window, based on samples. Because it is sampled rather than continuous, a true peak between two samples may be missed — figures are a floor, not a ceiling.
Why is a room missing, or a day blank?
A gap means the room was not observed above the tracking threshold during that period. It may have been offline, in a private show, below the threshold, or simply unobserved. A gap is never evidence about what a creator was doing.
How can a creator get a correction or be removed?
Contact @CBMetrics on X. Corrections are made on public data, and a creator who does not want to be featured can ask to be excluded.
Known limits
Sampling means a peak reached between two samples can be missed, so published peaks are a floor. Coverage starts when tracking of a room starts, so a record set earlier is invisible here and is described as a tracked record, never an all-time one. And the viewer count is whatever Chaturbate reports — CBMetrics measures the published number, not the number of humans behind it.
